Cindy with the legendary Frankie Manning.

 Cindy Gardner has been teaching current and traditional forms of Swing Dance in Minnesota and throughout the Midwest since 1979.   She founded Rhythm & Swing in 1995 to keep authentic original Swing Dance forms alive through performances of traditional and current Swing Dance styles.   She and her partner Terry teach weekly classes and regional workshops in East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop and Aerials to dancers of all ages and skill levels. 

In addition to her choreographic work for the Swing Cats, She has been comissioned to create works for Macalester College's production of 1940s Radio Hour, Faribault Community Theater's The Wizard of Oz and for Moorehead State University's dance program, among others.
