Over the years I have been asked numerous times if I could only buy one swing disc what would it be?  I’ve also been asked by new swing music collectors, “What CD would be best to get started with when I don’t have a lot of money?”

Well, I’ve finally found the answer to those questions.  I have found the Best of Swing.  What is really nice about this 3-CD compilation is that it has all the popular tunes of the golden era of swing such as One O’Clock Jump, Take the ‘A’ Train, In the Mood and Tuxedo Junction as well as other great tunes of lesser fame including Second Balcony Jump, Boog It and Little Joe from Chicago.

You are going to find an abundance of danceable music at a variety of tempos.  This is the CD compilation that does justice to big band compilations.  Not only do you get 68 of the best songs the big bands have to offer but you won’t have to shell out a wad of dough to get it!  I found this gem on sale at CD Now for $13.97!!  The list price is a mere $16.97, so if you miss the sale, it’s still a steal!  When I ordered it, I had to wait because it was backordered.  Don’t let this scare you off.  The wait wasn’t too long and any big band enthusiast should have this CD set in their collection.

Bottom Line:  To buy or not to buy…..BUY!  It’s a must, here’s how:
